MBI partnered with Carmody MacDonald to furnish its renovated Clayton office, delivering furniture solutions that support a professional workplace while introducing a hospitality-inspired design experience. Working alongside Gray Design Group, MBI provided furniture procurement and installation throughout the 40,600 sq ft office.
The design brings together refined materials, warm textures, and carefully curated furniture to create an environment that feels welcoming to both employees and visitors. MBI worked closely with the design team to select furniture for public spaces from a diverse group of vendor partners, reinforcing the hospitality-driven character of the interiors while supporting the firm’s professional brand.
A previously underused lounge now serves as a multifunctional break room and event space. The updated space supports everyday employee use while also accommodating firm gatherings, informal meetings, and internal events.
The workplace strategy also prioritizes employee comfort and wellness. Every workstation includes a sit-to-stand desk, allowing employees to adjust their work environment throughout the day while maintaining a cohesive and highly functional office layout.
