Mark, our Director, Business Operations and the wizard behind MBI’s seamless workflow. With 20+ years of experience and a Business Administration degree, Mark keeps our sales, procurement, and installation processes running like clockwork. He’s the driving force bringing the website to life and redefining our operations. A certified project management pro, he ensures we deliver exceptional environments for our clients. When he’s not optimizing our business, you’ll find Mark crafting Excel formulas for fun!

Lisa brings 30 years of diverse experience in the interior design industry, with a background that spans commercial, residential, and specialty design. She is passionate about building strong relationships with clients and the design community, and thrives on collaboration to deliver creative, beautiful, and functional solutions. Lisa is known for her ability to think outside the box and push design boundaries while staying grounded in each client’s unique needs. Outside of work, she enjoys connecting with fellow creatives and finding inspiration in everday experiences.

With more than 30 years in the commercial furniture industry, including 25 years dedicated to project management, Marcia brings deep expertise to every project she touches. From a single task chair to large-scale, multimillion-dollar installations, she manages it all with precision and calm. In 2019, her passion for the craft led her to earn her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
She’s known for building strong stakeholder relationships, anticipating challenges before they hit the surface, and orchestrating the details that keep projects on track and risk-free. Outside the office, Marcia enjoys spending time with friends and her dogs, or hitting the gym for a power-lifting session.

David, the General Manager at Modern Business Interiors in Lenexa, Kansas, brings 26 years of industry experience. He has worked with a wide range of organizations in commercial, educational, and healthcare sectors, focusing on customer satisfaction and creating spaces that surpass expectations and inspire users. Outside work, David enjoys peaceful weekends fishing in Kansas City’s beautiful outdoors, weather permitting.

Justin brings more than 15 years of experience across business development, sales, estimating, project management, and operations, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how projects come together from start to finish. As Business Development Manager at MBI, he’s driven by building meaningful relationships and identifying opportunities where MBI’s products and services create real, measurable value for clients.

Known for his collaborative approach and practical problem-solving, Justin works closely with clients to understand their goals and deliver tailored solutions that support long-term success.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys hiking, traveling, following sports (especially soccer), and grilling year-round — and spending time with his wife and two sons.

With nearly four decades of experience in the contract furniture industry, Lynda brings a deep understanding of both operations and sales. She has spent much of her career at MBI, where she plays a key role in the Healthcare market, supporting clients with thoughtful, experience-driven solutions. Lynda is known for her dedication, industry knowledge, and commitment to building lasting relationships. Outside of work, she enjoys expressing her creativity through glass cutting and art projects.

Colt McArthur, our Account Executive in Kansas City, boasts 33 years of sales expertise, 24 in contract furniture. With a graphic design degree from Kansas State University, Colt transforms client spaces into stunning showcases with his creative touch. A passionate Chiefs fan, he’s active in his community and stays busy with his two teenage daughters. Fun fact, Colt has appeared on The Price is Right and Hollywood Squares.

Rich Sacchettini has a 40-year tenure in the contract furniture industry, specializing in servicing Fortune 500 companies with remote offices across the U.S. His work spans major cities and high-profile local projects, underscored by his deep product knowledge and skill in overcoming project challenges. Rich excels in listening and questioning to meet customer needs precisely. Outside work, he cherishes family time, travel, golf, and reading.

Sarah Luter is a key designer and account manager at MBI, bringing over 8 years of experience in commercial interior design. Prior to MBI, she refined her expertise at local A&D firms, excelling in guiding clients to innovative solutions within their functional, aesthetic, and financial frameworks. Outside work, Sarah’s creativity flourishes in her kitchen, where she delights family and friends with new recipes, reflecting her lively spirit.

David Bozdeck brings over 25 years of experience in office solutions sales, starting with Aurora high-density mobile filing systems and evolving to focus on optimizing clients’ workspaces. With a commitment to enhancing ‘people’ spaces, David joined MBI in November 2021, gladly accepting the opportunity to work alongside Jordan Hart, whom he had known for 14 years. Married to Lisa since 1989, he’s a proud father and grandfather, enjoying travel, gourmet meals, fine wine, BBQ, and gin martinis outside work. A fan of European soccer, David’s perfect Saturday includes watching games and supporting STLCity at CityPark.

Rachel Markley, is a skilled professional with a Bachelor of Interior Design and a specialized background in healthcare. With a combined experience of 13 years in the design and contract furniture industry, Rachel brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Beyond the office, she finds joy in horseback riding and embracing the great outdoors, adding a touch of adventure to her well-rounded pursuits.

Jeannie Moore, our dedicated Account Manager, excels in creating lasting relationships with new and existing clients. She collaborates closely with manufacturers to secure solution-focused products and guarantees smooth operations with seamless installation services. Prioritizing client satisfaction, Jeannie delivers outstanding service. Outside work, her hobbies include fishing and gold-panning.

Workplace furniture consultant Stacey Wellen brings over 30 years of experience across healthcare, education, and corporate sectors. She enjoys helping clients improve their care, learning, and workspaces, achieving project aims and objectives. Outside work, Stacey enjoys spending time with loved ones, going on Jeep adventures, discovering new places, and enjoying the thrill of college football and basketball.

Account Manager Nancy specializes in furniture solutions for business, education, and healthcare clients, with over 30 years in the industry. Known for her exceptional listening skills, she’s dedicated to assisting clients. Outside work, she cherishes time as ‘Nannie’ to her grandchildren and enjoys laughter – it’s her favorite pastime!

Nicky brings over 13 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry to her role as an account manager at MBI. She began working in the industry as an interior designer and spent the last six years with a focus on project and account management. Nicky’s diverse skill set includes expertise in furnishings, AutoCAD, retails, sales, and Adobe InDesign. A graduate of St. Louis Community College, she combines her academic foundation with hands-on industry knowledge to deliver outstanding results. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants, which inspire her creative approach to design.

Amanda brings a wealth of experience to her roles as designer and account manager at MBI. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and 20 years of industry expertise, Amanda has made her mark in both interior design and the contract furniture sector. Her versatile background spans diverse markets, including education, healthcare, senior living, and corporate environments. Kayla Gettings brings her business background and invaluable recruiting experience to her role as Account Manager to MBI. With organizational skills and attention to detail, Ashley helps ensure smooth operations and successful orders and projects in her role as project coordinator. When not coordinating orders, Ashley embraces life’s simple pleasures. She finds joy in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes and honing her culinary skills. Ashley also cherishes quality time with her beloved dog and husband, balancing her professional dedication with a fulfilling personal life.

Bringing over 25 years of expertise in the contract furniture industry, Amy is a highly experienced project coordinator. She skillfully works with sales teams, manufacturers, project managers, and installers to ensure all project goals and objectives are met. Amy’s meticulous attention to detail extends beyond the office into her personal passions. A self-proclaimed “flower addict,” she has studied the Victorian art of Floriography and maintains a cherished collection of vintage flowerpots.

Devon Cobbs brings over seven year of specialized expertise as a Project Coordinator and Accounting specialist to MBI, with a strong background in educational and construction markets. Her resourceful problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills make her an invaluable team member who excels at creating trust in collaborative environments. Known for her ability to quickly adapt and prioritize work to achieve desired outcomes, Devon consistently delivers exceptional results. Erin brings more than three years of experience in contract furnishings, along with over 15 years in early childhood and elementary education — a combination that gives her a unique perspective on how environments shape learning, creativity, and comfort. At MBI, she’s known for her thoughtful space planning and seamless project coordination, creating spaces that are both functional and inviting.

Morgan Luetkenhaus is a dynamic designer and recent University of Central Missouri graduate driven by curiosity and the desire to impact the world positively. Her dedication to creative innovation is evident in her work and personal projects. Morgan gives back to her high school theatre program outside her professional life by designing sets, special effects, and technical elements, showcasing her commitment to creativity and community.

With 30 years of experience, Lisa Chappell skillfully combines her roles as an interior designer and account manager. Her expertise spans finish selections, furniture specs, and procurement, enhanced by time at an architecture firm. This background offers her a comprehensive view of projects, from construction sites to final drawings, where she uses AutoCad and CET for accuracy. Carrie brings over 15 years of experience in the commercial furniture industry. A graduates of Iowa State University’s Interior Design program, she has worked in Boston and Chicago before making Kansas City her home. Carrie enjoys the creative challenge of space planning and takes pride in selecting the right solutions to meet each client’s unique needs. Kerry brings a unique blend of experience to MBI, following a 20-year career as a registered nurse and real estate investor before pursuing her passion for interior design. With a highly collaborative approach, Kerry partners closely with clients to align design solutions with their goals. Kara brings 27 years of experience in the commercial contract industry, with a career that includes 15 years as a designer at Allsteel and 12 years in dealer design roles. NCIDQ certified since 2003, she offers deep expertise across corporate, education, healthcare, government, architectural walls, and kitchen design.

Known for her meticulous attention to detail and extensive product knowledge, Kara is passionate about creating dynamic spaces that seamlessly balance beauty and functionality. Her thoughtful, collaborative approach ensures every project is both visually compelling and highly effective.

Michael Nickel brings a wealth of project management experience to MBI, having successfully overseen projects across diverse industries throughout his career. His meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to excellence ensure that each project meets and exceeds the highest standards. Michael’s professional drive is complemented by his adventurous spirit – when not managing projects, he can be found exploring new travel destinations or staying active through various outdoor pursuits, from hiking trails and swimming to engaging matches of pickleball.

Warehouse Manager Mark Ramsey, with 23 years in the business furniture industry, offers extensive experience across all facets, contributing to his and the company’s success. Beyond work, Mark enjoys playing guitar and singing, embracing his love for music.

Kyra is a creative marketing professional known for her ability to tell meaningful stories and build strong digital communities. As MBI’s Social Media Manager, she leads the development of strategic, visually engaging content that elevates the MBI brand and highlights the work, culture, and values that define our team.
