Armanino LLP, one of St. Louis’ largest accounting firms, initiated a strategic plan to consolidate three floors into two, aiming to redefine their workspace with principles of openness, collaboration, and flexibility. The envisioned space seamlessly blends permanent and shared offices and stations, supplemented by extra meeting areas to encourage interaction and productivity. Each floor, spanning 20,000 square feet, demanded detailed planning and execution for the desired transformation.
Panera Bread’s strategic decision to relocate its headquarters to a 72,000 sq. ft. Maritz-owned corporate park space in St. Louis marked a significant transformation. At full capacity, the facility accommodates 200-350 employees daily, emphasizing the need for a cohesive and collaborative environment. In partnership with local architecture firm The Lawrence Group and Paric Construction, the relocation involved a complete renovation, with Modern Business Interiors playing a pivotal role in shaping the new workspace.
When Nature’s Variety looked into redesigning their St. Louis office, they wanted the space to reflect the company’s fun, animal-centered personality. Their original office featured six sections of closed office spaces and desks arranged in a cube, but the team wanted a more open floorplan that allowed for meetings, collaboration, and a collection of ways to sit and work throughout the day.
Pickwick Plaza, in downtown Kansas City, has had a rich history as a destination and transportation hub. Designed in 1929, the building originally housed the Pickwick Hotel, an office building, a parking garage and one of the largest bus terminals west of the Mississippi.
Avison Young is a leading commercial real estate firm with over 100 offices in 18 countries. In 2020, leadership invested in a new St. Louis office space that offered a modern, yet timeless look that would help give inspiration to their own clients as they invest in real estate and new interiors.
Collaborating with McCroskey Interiors, MBI played a pivotal role in creating the lively and energetic environment at Basys’ Lenexa, Kansas facility.
