MBI partnered with Missouri University of Science and Technology to furnish the Missouri Protoplex, a new advanced manufacturing facility in Rolla and the anchor building for the university's manufacturing research. MBI provided design, project management, and installation across roughly 117,000 square feet of classrooms, offices, collaboration areas, and student commons.

What Made This One Work
01
This was a fast bid, and the pace held after the award. Specifications and finishes had to be locked quickly so the furniture package could keep step with construction on a building that had a fixed opening date.
02
One MBI team carried the project from design through installation and punch list. Space planning, order management, delivery, and closeout stayed in the same hands.
03
The package pulled from ten manufacturers across systems, seating, casegoods, and textiles. MBI tracked those lead times against one install schedule so the building was furnished as a single handoff.
