MBI played an important part in the transformation of Kansas State University’s Berney Family Welcome Center, an essential resource center for visitors. MBI was tasked with designing the career center, admissions, and recruitment office facilities that expertly blended historical significance with contemporary uses.
MBI considered crucial furniture specifications, like bench and lobby sitting with power options to meet various technological needs. The result is an updated, easily navigable area that respects the university’s history while catering to departments’ and students’ current demands. The design of the Welcome Center, which is a popular meeting place for departments and students looking to interact with people interested in the university’s career path prospects, reflects MBI’s experience in creating collaborative spaces.
